While nothing replaces seeing equipment in person, we’re proud to share who we are, where we’ve come from, and where we’re going.

Huckabone’s Equipment is a family-owned, full-line Kubota dealership serving Cobden, the Ottawa Valley, and Eastern Ontario.

Our Story

Our roots trace back to 1950, when James Huckabone began with a used car lot and was later approached by Ford to sell tractors. That opportunity sparked a passion for agricultural and equipment sales that continues today.

In 1990, we opened our first Kubota location — building a relationship with Kubota that has now spanned over three decades.

In 2025, we proudly expanded by purchasing a second location, Lanark Equipment, strengthening our ability to serve Eastern Ontario and reinforcing our long-term commitment to growth and customer support.

Now three generations into the business, our foundation remains the same:

Our Team

Huckabone’s Equipment employs over 25 team members across sales, service, parts, administration, and customer care.

Together, our staff brings well over 200 years of combined industry experience.

Our technicians and sales professionals continue to train directly through Kubota, holding Kubota Service Pro and Kubota Sales Pro designations in high regard.

We are proud to serve our customers in both official languages and remain committed to professional development, product knowledge, and delivering the highest standard of service.
